Hello, blog world. It's been awhile but we're back in action. I took some time off DIYing to pursue wedded bliss. My guy and I got hitched! In DIY style, we made our wedding day unique with tons of crafted decor. I took a breather (literally) from priming oil walls to work on our wedding DIYs. And I'll be sure to share some with you! Here are some shots from our day and plus, some sneak peeks of what we've done with the house:

It was a beyond amazing day - did I mention it was during a hurricane? We managed to sneak out for a few shots during the eye of the storm! So we got engaged in Europe during the icelandic volcano in 2010 and a hurricane on the day of our wedding. Hold onto your hats for when child labor comes along! All in all, every DIY was so worth it. I liked doing a lot of it, particularly the centrepieces, so I'll be sure to post on how I dyed the jars the pretty aqua blue. I found a few tutorials around the web but managed to make my own fool proof recipe.
So now that it's all clued up and I've recovered, it's time to get back to the house. I have some big projects this summer and I can't wait to get cracking! Onward and upward!
